Quantum Mechanics

On-line Texts and Tutorials
Listed below are some useful on-line resources. Some provide an introduction to quantum chemistry and others are more advanced.

Some Basic Ideas about Quantum Mechanics

      Intro to Quantum Mechanics

Primer on Quantum Theory of the Atom

A Brief Review of Elementary Quantum Chemistry

NIH Guide to Molecular Modeling – Quantum Chemistry

Quantum Mechanics in Chemistry Textbook by Jack Simons and Jeff Nichols

Software

Chemweb Computational Chemistry Toolkit - An online resource for semiempirical quantum chemistry calculations using GAMESS.

AMSOL:
AMSOL is a general purpose semi-empirical quantum chemistry program. It also performs SCF calculations of the free energies of solvation of molecules and ions.

Gaussian:
Gaussian is a system of programs for performing a variety of semi-empirical and ab initio molecular orbital calculations.
